Приветствую под конец рабочей недели, друзья! Решила все- таки сделать серию женских постов, про женщин и для женщин. Почему? Да, потому что я - женщина. Сегодня хочу поговорить о моде на английском, так как про и я уже писала. Существует ли мода как таковая или же все- таки это что — то нам навязанное обществом? По истории, очень четко прослеживаются тенденции моды, самые разные. В настоящее же время я наблюдаю только моду на айфоны и технику.
Мода на одежду стала очень размытой, унисекс, а для кого — то приобрела уникальность. Уникальные дизайнеры - уникальная мода, следовательно никто не может назвать меня немодной, даже если я одену японское кимоно или русский сарафан. Есть уникальные дизайнеры. Есть уникальный стиль. Думаю, что нет слова «модно», есть подходит тебе по энергетике и внешности или не подходит. Сейчас я наблюдаю размытость стиля. Все как одинаковые. То есть стиль есть - но он один. Особенно западный стиль.
Давайте разберем, что конкретно относится к моде:
Are you a fashionista ?
Fashionista - слово для тех, кто очень любит моду и следует всем тенденциям. Помните эту ужасную моду на вытянутые шапки (beanie hats ) реперов — лыжников? А ведь она была. Вы знали, что это шапка бедняков — строителей, которая потом пришла в стиль? Я- нет.
Стиль рэперов принес нам streetstyle или впоследствии более огламуренный casual (небрежный) style.
Conservative style . Консервативный стиль. Представляете, это уже считается консервативным.
High street fashion. Это что- то модное и все в этом ходят и также доступное (affordable ) и модное (trendy ).
Thriftshop (Second hand). Одежда секонд- хэнд, где можно найти много интересного, но думаю лучше в это не одеваться.
Vintage style . Стиль винтаж Обычно он Old (Старый) , Classic (Классический) , Good quality (Хорошего качества) и они конечно Quite costly (достаточно дорогие) . Ну это моя любимая по своим песням, которая балансирует между дорогим стилем и casual.
Classic style. Как правило timeless (вне времени).
Romantic style. Романтический стиль
Stylish, Chick - означает «Стильный». Несмотря, что «Chick » похоже на курочку.
Trend setter - Законодатель моды. То есть, в принципе, любой человек, может начать носить перья курицы на голове и это может войти в тренд.

with, whether you like it or not. Anyway it’s important to look attractive.
But it doesn’t mean that you should be a fashion-conscious
. It may turn to a waste of money
. If a person doesn’t have good taste
he is not able to put things together
. Trendy
people want to stand out in a crowd
, but sometimes they don’t look stylish.
First of all, think clothes should suit you
. If you have good taste you can buy a big range of styles
and always look fashionable. But clothes should suit the occasion
, and put you in the right mood for the day. But there are people who are not able bothered about
fashion, they just want to stand out in a crowd by wearing something unusual, old-fashioned or trendy. Actually, I’m not such a person and I guess you should choose things according to your personality and character, and you’ll look well-dressed
even if you wear something casual

I like wearing different kinds of clothes, but certainly clothes should suit the occasion. When I plan what I’m going to wear I usually think what kind of meeting I have. At school we weren’t allowed to wear sport or bright clothes, we had to wear clothes of formal style. Usually I wore a jacket, a blouse and trousers or a skirt. But I didn’t like being dressed that way, as many other students. Really I prefer smart clothes to formal. Besides I enjoy wearing sport clothes, because I feel comfortable in it. Also on my list of likes there are jeans. One of my favourite colours is white, so I like white sweaters, tops and skirts. I usually wear high heeled shoes even if it’s not always comfortable or thick-soled boots. When I go out I always dress up, because I feel better that way. But when I have an official meeting I try to wear formal clothes.
Today"s world is often called the computer world. We cannot imagine our life without computers. The first computers were developed during the Second World War. They were used to break the codes, used to send secret information.
Our world is really a small world. Modern transport facilities make it possible to reach any part of our planet within a few hours. People have to communicate and solve common problems in all the spheres of political life, economy and culture. Communication is an interaction of cultures. The knowledge of each other"s culture and traditions is very often important for successful business and political talks. We, Russians, very often surprise our foreign partners by our behavior and manners.
Unemployment is a very urgent problem today. Years ago when a man left school he learnt some job and did this job all his life. He could be sure that his job would be needed to his dying day. Nowadays he couldn"t be sure. Your work may look like a very good job at present, but it may not be needed in 10 years.
Drugs
Drug addiction is a big problem today. Even 5 years ago this problem did not exist in small towns. We read about drug addicts in the USA and other countries of the West. This problem existed in big cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg. Today different drugs are sold in our city and what is worse they are bought and taken by people, mostly young people. Drugs are ruinous for health and they destroy the personality of those who take them.
We can"t call today"s world a safe world. Many dangers come from nature, I mean floods, earthquakes and so on. But people are also dangerous for each other. Unfortunately, there are some people who don"t stop at anything to achieve their aims. They even think "the more victims the better". Our country was one of the first to have terrorist attacks. I mean the attacks in Moscow when two apartment houses were destroyed. There were acts of terrorism in all parts of the world at the end of the 20th century: in Japan, in England and in France.
I"d like to tell you about my native town. Izhevsk is very large industrial town locted in the European part of Russia between the Volga River and the Ural mountains. It has a population of about 700.000. Izhevsk was founded in l760 as a settlement. The industrial development f the history began with the construction of an iron works. In 1918 Izhevsk became a town and since 1921 it has been the capital of Udmurtia.
Science is finding out about things around us. How do you find out about things? One way is to ask questions about them. But suppose no one knows the answers. Then you have to think of ways to find the answers yourself. This usually means doing something to the «thing» to see what happens. Doing something to see what happens is called experimenting. Scientists ask questions about things around us.

Может быть, именно в таком кружке растут не только чемпионы России, но даже будущие чемпионы мира в этом виде спорта?!

Раньше в городе было ДВЕ станции юных техников, и в каждой была секция картинга. Картинг был ещё и во Дворце пионеров. Сейчас в городе нет ни одной стации, и кружок во Дворце пионеров тоже уничтожили. Закрыли - не поворачивается сказать, просто уничтожили!
Мы боролись, писали письма, везде ответ у них один. Лет пять тому назад я ездил к губернатору Самарской области на прием. Он не принял, а приняла меня заместитель.
Вот после этого нам дали помещение, где мы и базировались. У нас очень много детей хотят заниматься картингом, но очень плохая материальная часть не позволяет набирать детей.
Да и большая часть картингов требует ремонта. Вот в таком положении находится наш кружок.
Мы обращались и к мэру города Сызрань за помощью. Второй год ждем помощи. Решили обратиться через интернет к вам за помощью.

Например, в Англии. Все девочки и мальчики должны носить конкретную школьную униформу. Если вы видите ученика одетого в синий цвет, то знайте наверняка, что этот парень родом из Англии. Тем не менее, в последнее время каждая школа в Англии может вносить свои коррективы в правила. Ученикам разрешено носить шорты (летом) и свитера (если холодно). В основном же ученики носят брюки, юбки (только девочки), рубашки, блузки, пиджаки и платья (также только девочки). Как это ни странно, мальчики и девочки должны также носить галстуки.

| Clothes are an important part of modern life. It’s hard to imagine how people can live without clothes. There are various styles of clothes nowadays, so people can choose what to wear on different occasions. As for me, I have a good collection of clothes in my wardrobe. There are a couple of school suits which are of classic style. Then I have some jeans and T-shirts for casual days. And at last, I have a couple of bright dresses for parties or special occasions. Most of all I like wearing ordinary jeans with matching shirts. I think it’s not only convenient but also stylish. As for shoes, I prefer wearing sports shoes or sneakers but I need to wear some classic black shoes to school. I don’t like high heels because they are uncomfortable. I always try to keep my clothes and shoes neat. I think that clothes tell a lot about people and can make a strong impression. So if they are tidy and nice the impression will be positive. The choice of clothes also depends on seasons and weather conditions. In winter, for example, it’s important to have a warm coat and a pair of boots. A jacket and rubber boots would be nice for spring and autumn. However, my favourite time is summer, when everyone can wear light T-shirts and shorts, or sarafan and sandals. | Одежда является важной составляющей современной жизни. Fashion has always had a huge influence on people around the world. The main reason why we try to follow the latest fashion trends is a desire to look stylish, attractive, popular and more confident. Generally people judge a new person by his appearance and his clothes and only then, by his inner qualities. There is a proverb: “Good clothes open all doors.” That’s why we do our best to make a favourable impression on others. We spend a lot of money to keep up with fashion and buy designer clothes.
Fashion often means style, glamour and success. It is also a big business. It’s hard to resist the temptation to buy some brand-name clothing in our modern world. Every day we pass by colourful shop-windows, we see plenty of ads everywhere: on buses, billboards, TV and in magazines. Many teenagers pay too much attention to their friends’ and classmates’ appearance. Sadly, if some parents are not able to afford buying trendy clothes with fashion labels, their kids often become outsiders. So clothes usually separate people into social groups.
In my opinion every person can have his own style and look unique. He should choose clothes according to his taste, age, job, constitution and character. I am glad to say that I don’t pay so much attention to fashion and I am not its victim. I don’t care too much about what other people wear. The most important thing for me in the outlook is neatness, natural look and beauty. And it should certainly suit the occasion. I must admit that some fashionable clothes are quite ridiculous and unpractical. There was a time, for instance, when young people wore baggy clothes, shoes on enormous platforms, red hair, black fingernails and bright make-up. To my mind, it was just a silly waste of money. Besides, if a person doesn’t have a good taste he is not able to put things together and look attractive and stylish even in fashionable clothes.
Fashion is something we deal with every day. Even people, who say they don"t care what they wear, choose clothes every morning that say a lot about them and how they feel that day. What influences our choice of clothes is an interesting question. I believe that most of the people do not follow the fashion displayed on the catwalk. That kind of clothes is a product of famous high-class designers" work, it is often very extravagant and extremely expensive. It is also not designed to be worn every day, but it is suitable for some special occasions.
However, we definitely borrow some ideas about fashion from music clips, videos, books and television. Movies also have a big impact on what people wear. For example it is known that more sunglasses were sold in America after the movie "Men In Black." Sometimes a trend becomes world-wide. Back in the 50"s teenagers everywhere dressed like Elvis Presley. Musicians and other cultural icons as well as political and royal figures have always influenced what we are wearing. Newspapers and magazines reported on what Hillary Clinton was wearing when she was the 1st lady. The death of Princess Diana was a severe blow to the high fashion world, where her clothes were daily news.
Depending on their attitude towards clothes and fashion, people can be divided in three groups: fashion slaves, spending all their money on the latest clothes even if they don"t look good in them; fashion fans, who enjoy wearing modern clothes but not obsessed by them and people who just don"t care how they look. Personally I place myself between fashion fans and people who don"t care how they look. Although I enjoy shopping very much and like to try things on, especially when I look good in them, I don"t spend much time choosing and buying clothes. And of course I do it only when I really need something new to wear, and not in order to kill time.
My style and the range of clothes that I have are defined by the activities I engage in. Work occupies most of my time and therefore most of the clothes that I have corresponds with the dress code, registered in the policy of our company. According to the dress code, an employee is not allowed to wear certain items of clothing to work. For example, men are supposed to wear ties and business suits, and nobody is allowed to wear jeans, except on Fridays. Women"s clothes are not supposed to be skin-tight, too short and too open. All of the shirts are supposed to have collars. Clothes also can"t be too bright, the colors should correspond to the corporate colors – dark blue and white.
